Is Actually a job board?

No. Actually is a two-sided professional marketplace. Companies and professionals discover each other, and a conversation only opens when the interest is mutual.

Is Actually only for 1099 work?

At launch, yes. We’re starting with experienced independent professionals looking for 1099 project engagements. Other ways of working may come later.

How does vetting work?

Every professional and company goes through a review process before entering the marketplace. That may include identity, professional experience, credentials, business legitimacy, and human review.

Does AI decide who gets approved?

No. Technology may help make the process easier, but approval decisions are reviewed by real people.

Can companies see my name and photo immediately?

Yes. You can easily edit the text content directly inside Framer to match your website or product information.

Does Actually handle contracts or payments?

Not at launch. Actually helps the right people find and connect with each other. Negotiation, contracts, and payment remain between the professional and company.
